HERRINGTON, Roxanne (Goyette) – age 64, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 East Mt. Morris Road, Otisville, MI 48463; Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 12-8 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Richfield Church of the Nazarene, in Roxanne’s memory.
Roxanne was born in Flint, MI on August 9, 1954, daughter of the late John and Cordia (Shiflett) Goyette. She married Michael Herrington on June 24, 1977. Roxanne was a member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene. She was employed for 27 years with Genesys Health Park and retired from the Genesee County Health Department in 2013 after 13 years of service. Roxanne loved tending to her flower garden, camping and spending time with her family, especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Roxanne is survived by her husband of 41 years, Michael; 2 children, Rachel Burk and Luke (Rachel) Herrington; 3 grandchildren, Drew Michael Burk, Alexis Cordia Burk and Adele Marilyn Herrington; 4 brothers, Matt (Pam) Burke, Gerard (Debra) Goyette, Gregory (Sandra) Goyette and Andrew (Jennifer) Goyette; a multitude of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
