Miller, Marie A., of Flushing, age 90, died on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Bickford Assisted Living in Saginaw.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial visitation from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Rossell Funeral Home, 307 E Main Street, Flushing.
Marie was born in Evart, Michigan on November 9, 1934, the daughter of the late Herbert and Lucy (Baldwin) Leyder. She married Charles J. Miller in Reed City, Michigan on April 18, 1959. Marie worked as a paraprofessional for 40 years at Flushing Community Schools. She was an avid walker and runner, in which she proudly participated in the Crim starting at age 62. In her free time, she loved to read and go camping with her husband.
Marie is survived by her children, Debbie (Jeff) Mann, Marvin (Pam) Miller, Bruce (Becky) Miller and Patsy (Jeff) Phegley; grandchildren, Mandy O’Boyle, Brian (Kate) Mann, Stacy (Tony) Chung, Abbey Miller, Clint Phegley, Allie (Kyle) Stump, Brian (Ann) Phegley and Kiel (Jami) Phegley; great-grandchildren, Charlie Stump, Wolfgang Chung, Colin, Lucy and Grace Phegley; and brother-in-law, Dick McKay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Miller; daughter, Dianna O’Boyle; parents, Herbert and Lucy Leyder and siblings, Martha (Ernie) Yearhouse, Pauline McKay, Ruth (Louie) Grandy, Junior (Reva) Leyder and Paul (Ann) Leyder.
Donations in Marie’s memory are suggested to Transitions Hospice of Bay City.
