Lake, Suzanne Eleanor of Flushing, age 83, died Sunday, August 3, 2025, at WellBridge of Grand Blanc. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Josh Corbin will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
Suzanne was born in Flint, Michigan on September 30, 1941, the daughter of Albert and Eleanor (Walland) Smith. She was married to Wayne Keeven and he preceded her in death in 2003. She later married Victor Lake on September 8, 2006, in Mt. Morris. Suzanne attended Baker College where she received an associate’s degree in interior design. She enjoyed flower gardening and watching the birds at her feeders. Suzanne loved shopping, long conversations with everyone and going on lunch dates. She enjoyed cooking and hosting family for holidays. Her home was adorned with clever sayings all over. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, Victor; daughters, Angela Nail, Rebecca Nail; stepchildren, Corey and wife Melinda Lake, Robin Lake; grandchildren, Abigail and husband Ryan Ward, Alexandria Disberry, Joshua Baliko, Emily Tackebury, Morgan Lake, Aliyah Stepanski, Adriana Fanfalone, Christopher Lake; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel, Olivia, Kai; and longtime friends, Lorna and Shelly Stecco. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Smith.
