ABRAHAM, Charles Albert - Of Fenton, age 82, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 surrounded by those who loved him.
Charles was born in Michigan on October 23, 1938 the son of the late Albert and Virginia Abraham. After graduating from Kearsley High School, Chuck enlisted in the Marine Corp where he was awarded the Medal of Valor and the Purple Heart for his service during the Vietnam War. He entered law enforcement and served in the Genesee County Sheriff Department attaining the Rank of Detective Sheriff until his retirement. He also served as Police Chief of Montrose Township. An avid Michigan State fan he loved Spartan football and basketball. If Chuck wasn’t golfing, he was with his beloved bull dogs or watching friend’s dogs, he always had a treat in hand. Chuck leaves many lifelong friends, golfing buddies, breakfast club, “the girls”, many special neighbors and the Lazar family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Per Chuck’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. “Semper FI”
Contributions may be made to the Humane Society, Adopt-A-Pet, and Marine Corps Toys for Tots and Wounded Warriors.
