VITOUS, Willadean - Age 91, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 surrounded by her family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Tuesday November 25, from 2:00-8:00pm, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. There will also be visitation at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
Willadean was born on August 6, 1934 in Logan County, Kentucky, the daughter of Robert Lee and Effie Mae (Brooks) Spratt. She married Frank H. Vitous on June 26, 1954 in Flint, he preceded her in death on July 21, 2017 after 63 wonderful years of marriage. Willadean was retired from General Motors working at AC Spark Plug division. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, square dancing, clogging, bowling, golf and traveling and loved baking her favorite treats for family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
Surviving are her children, Gary (Dawn) Vitous, Debra (Andrew) Petersen, Lori (Norm) Alkema, and Timothy (Julia) Vitous; 10 grandchildren, John, Amanda, Joseph, Puck Fae, Nicholas, Trevor, Anthony, Chase, Terry, and Austin; 10 great grandchildren, Frank, Emma, Ashlyn, Gregory, Faith, Daxson, and Bennington, Adalynn, John Luke and Isla; a special niece and nephew, Rod Gardener and Dawn White.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Vitous and her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Gardner. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
