BOOSE, TRACEY – Of Flint, age 60, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at New Creation Church of God, 3472 Lennon Road, Flint, Elder Jody Boose officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation or to the family.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Tracey will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.
Tracey was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 2, 1962, the daughter of George and Mae (Nevels) Boose.
She served in the U.S. Navy. She was a member of Security Ministry in Flint.
Surviving are daughters, Rasheeda Alesh Blount,
Chanel Frances Slaughter;
grandson, Rashaun A. Blount;
sister, Sherry Boose-Fails and Kelly George Boose;
nieces and nephews, Jody C. Boose, Jacquolyn, C. Boose, Kelly Boose, Jr, Kemia Henry Abdul, Antoine Blassingame;
aunt, Starrie Nevels and aunt and uncle Brenda and Bobby Neal.
She was preceded in death by parents and brother, Jody Boose.
