Bruce Edward Bunn, born November 23, 1929 to Carl and Violet (Marlow) Bunn. Passed away peacefully at home with his family, August 22, 2026. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. A celebration of life will be held, 1 PM Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Victory Tabernacle, 1497 W. Pine St., Clio, MI 48420. The family will receive visitors at the Tabernacle on Saturday from 12 PM until the time of service at 1 PM.
Bruce worked for General Motors for 36 years. He was a tool designer and pattern maker. He was an instructor at Mott Adult Education as a cabinet and wood designer for over 40 years. Bruce also owned Montrose Flower Shop and Greenhouse from 1968 until 1996. After the 1953 Beecher tornado he worked along C. S. Mott rebuilding homes in the area. Bruce would tell you that he had sawdust in his veins. He touched many life’s through out his 96 years.
Surviving are children Connie Cumming, Timothy (Jill) Bunn, Christine (Peter) Cross-Curley, Linda Katsuyama, Raymond Brown, Connie (Don) Hart and Julie Hendershott, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren to many to count.
Preceded in death by father and mother Carl and Violet Bunn, stepfather Dan Lyden. First wife Evelyn Agnes (McClain) Bunn, second wife Helen Pauline (Gafford-Brown) Bunn, son Bruce L Bunn, two brothers, 3 sisters, two grandsons, one granddaughter and many other relatives.
