WALENTOVIC, Paul LeRoy - Age 84, of Imlay City, died Saturday, January 16, 2021. Per his families request, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, 5625 N. U.S. 23, Oscoda, MI 48750.
Paul was born October 2, 1936 in Flint, the son of Joseph Paul and Alma Bertha (Kruger) Walentovic. He married Anny I. Madsen October 25, 1957 in Bay City. He retired in 1994 from GM Chevrolet V-8 Engine Plant after 30 years of service. Paul resided in Imlay City for the past year coming from Oscoda/Birch Run. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 659. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and going to family reunions.
Surviving are: his wife of 63 years, Anny; 4 children, Sherril Hengy (Mike) of Imlay City, Paul LeRoy Walentovic, Jr. (Vesna) of Victoria, TX, David Walentovic (Tina) of Birch Run, and Debbie Bolf (Larry) of Gowen; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Karol of Bay City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jonathon Paul Walentovic; brother, Gerald Owen Walentovic; and sister, Joyce Hadd. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
