Joyce M. Talley, age 82, of Otisville died April 29, 2020 at the Lapeer County Medical Care Facility with family beside her.
Joyce was born August 13, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to the late Willard and Irene Vaughan. She married John Talley on August 16, 1974 in Flint, Michigan. Joyce retired from Ac Sparkplug. She enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino, camping, boating, even doing the laundry, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Joyce is survived by her children: Willard (Laura) Comstock, Debbie (Chuck) Wetherford, Richard (Jill) Farnsworth, siblings: Arthur Vaughan, Delores Young, 6 grandchildren: Julie, Amy, Emily, Elizabeth, Eric, Charles, 11great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, brothers: Lorenzo “Lenny” and Jim, granddaughters: Christy & Misty Farnsworth.
A private funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville where friends and family may view the funeral via Live Stream at 1:00 PM by visiting our website and clicking on Joyce’s notice and scrolling down. Pastor Roger Keur officiating. Interment Smith Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Joyce may be made to Suncrest Auxiliary or Alzheimer‘s Association.
