William John "Bill" Tribelhorn, 81, of Houghton Lake passed away on Monday March 17, 2014 at Hilltop Manor Healthcare Center in Roscommon.
Bill was born on September 30, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to Philip and Mary(Sharp) Tribelhorn. He was a 1951 graduate of Kearsley High School in Flint. Bill served in the Navy Reserve after high school and later became the Parts Manager for Freeman Pontiac of Flint for many years. On August 23, 1958 in Flint Bill married Wanda Jean Graves. William was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, MI. and enjoyed reading, camping, and spending time with his family.
Surviving Mr. Tribelhorn are his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda J. Tribelhorn of Houghton Lake; 2 sons - Brian Tribelhorn of Houghton Lake, and David (Glenda) Tribelhorn of Flushing; grandson - Chris Tribelhorn of Houghton Lake; granddaughter - Brianna Tribelhorn of Houghton Lake; and several nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jessica Kay Tribelhorn; sister, Cathy Larouch; brother, Robert Tribelhorn; and brother, Jim Tribelhorn.
Funeral Services for William John Tribelhorn will be conducted at 12:00PM on Friday March 21, 2014 from St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint, Michigan with Pastor Gary Beck officiating. Interment will be in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held on Friday March 21, 2014 from 11:00am to the time of the service at 12:00PM at St. Mark Lutheran Church. Memorial Contribution in memory of William are asked to be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
