Mark L. Johnson II – of Burton, MI, age 47, heard the voice of his Savior and followed Him home on Sunday, March 24, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Mt. Morris Community Church, 7245 N. Center Road, Mt. Morris MI 48458; Pastor Aaron Burton officiating. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 PM prior to the service at the church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Mark’s memory.
Mark was born in Flint on April 22, 1976, son of Mark L. and Pamela L. (Rushing) Johnson. He married Kelly A. Mockeridge on September 1, 2001 in Clio. Mark was a Hamady High School graduate. He worked at Advanced Auto Trends. Mark was talented when it came to working on cars. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing. His greatest love was found in spending time with his family.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Johnson; his adoring children, Markie (Tyler) Wiegersma, Benjamin Johnson, Charlotte Johnson, Amelia Johnson and Richard Johnson; parents, Mark and Pam Johnson; sister, Bobbie Jo Lechota; grandfather, Roger Johnson; several nieces and nephews; as well as many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Johnson, Ray and Geraldine Rushing; as well as an uncle and two aunts.
