HUTCHINSON, Debra A. “Deb” – of Clio, age 68, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Visitation will be held Thursday October 15, 2020 from 2-8 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. A graveside service with a time of sharing will be Friday October 16, 2020 at 1 PM at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, (2020 Hill Rd., Grand Blanc), please have a story ready to share with the family about Debbie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Big Brothers Big Siters of Flint.
Debra was born July 8, 1952 in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert and Lillian (Smith) Hughes. She has been a lifelong Clio resident and graduated from Clio High School with the Class of 1970. On April 7, 1979 she married Bruce V. Hutchinson in Mt. Morris. Prior to her retirement, Debbie worked various jobs within the 68th District Court for the City of Flint. Deb enjoyed playing cards, bowling, camping and taking her annual trips up north to her cousin Cindy’s cabin. She also loved going out with her many friends, her girl’s weekends and playing the lottery.
Surviving are: her beloved husband Bruce for 41 years; loving children, Kelly Hutchinson of Lansing, Michael Romanack of Fenton, Jenifer (Chris) Witmer and Matthew (Kristen) Hutchinson both of Clio; 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; siblings, Bob Hughes, Steve (Charron) Hughes, Patty (Dan) Skogen; also several nieces, nephews and extended family.
