DENNIS, Emma Elizabeth (Jordan) – of Mount Morris, MI, age 77, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, June 15, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Todd I. Frusti officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Monday, June 15, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, in Emma’s memory.
Emma was born in Flint, MI on July 4, 1948, daughter of the late James and Oneta (Chambers) Jordan. She was a graduate of Beecher High School, Class of 1966. Emma found great joy in life's simple pleasures and cherished the beauty of the world around her. She loved tending to her garden, nurturing colorful flowers, and spending peaceful moments birdwatching from her window. Emma also enjoyed watching her favorite television programs and traveling, creating treasured memories along the way. A devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Emma's faith was an important part of her life and provided her with strength, comfort, and a sense of community. Together, Emma and her beloved husband, Robert, shared a passion for adventure and fellowship through their involvement with the Gold Wing Touring Association. Whether exploring new destinations or enjoying the company of lifelong friends, the journeys they shared brought them much happiness. Emma will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and appreciation for the beauty found in both nature and everyday life. Her warmth, love, and quiet grace will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Emma is survived by her husband, Robert Dennis; 3 children; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Jordan and Oneta Hendricks; a son and 2 siblings.
