McCRANDALL, Barbara A. (Mason) – of Davison, age 90, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 Noon Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Interment will immediately follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Monday at the church. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Tuesday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed 7PM Monday by the Daughters of Isabella, Regina Coeli Circle – Davison #1095. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Barbara was born in Flint, MI on October 12, 1931, daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Strike) Mason. She married Robert McCrandall on October 18, 1952. Barbara was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Altar Society, Parish Council and assisted with counting. She was also on the election board for Davison Township. Barbara enjoyed reading, crosswords, gardening-especially her flower beds. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Michael (Ann Marie) McCrandall, Ann (Joseph) Bisaha, Joseph (Maureen) McCrandall, Mark McCrandall, Paul (Linda) McCrandall, John (Julian) McCrandall, Phillip (Tammy) McCrandall, Martha (Brad Gilmour) Churches, Mary (Todd) Strickland and Thomas McCrandall; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Jeanette) Mason; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Rebecca McCrandall; grandson, Michael McCrandall II; son-in-law, Robert Churches; daughter-in-law, Diane McCrandall and Debbie McCrandall; brothers, Donald Mason and James Mason.
