O'HARA, Charlene Margaret - Of Swartz Creek, age 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday, November 8, 2021 at St. Mary’s Queen of Angels, 4413 S. Morrish Road, Swartz Creek,
Father Louis Ekka officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Visitation 4-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the Mass.
Charlene was born in Flint, Michigan on February 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Bunker. On October 5, 1957, she married Edward O’Hara at St. Matthews Catholic Church and they were married for 64 years. Charlene was a member of St. Mary’s Queen of Angels. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Charlene was a very dedicated, hardworking woman to St. Luke’s Catholic Church for over 30 years. She loved spending time shopping with her daughter and grandkids. Charlene also enjoyed watching Michigan football and PGA Golf.
Surviving are husband, Edward;
Sons, Patrick and Thomas:
Daughter, Colleen (Ron) Latimer;
Grandchildren, Danette, Heather, Brian and Kyle;
Great grandchildren, Carson and Alivia;
And many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Charles.
