WARNER, VIRGINIA ROSE “Polkie” of Davison, Michigan. Died July 24, 2021. She was 94. Virginia was born December 23, 1926 in Flint, Michigan to the late Alexander and Stella (nee: Showtan) Skowerski. She married Pete Warner on November 7, 1959. He died on September 29, 1981. She is survived by two children, Kathleen Warner and Harold Warner, Jr; her daughter-in-law Sue Warner; three grandchildren, Stephen, Jeffrey and Frankie; one sister, Myrna Erickson. She was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Warner. Polkie retired in 1976 from A.C. Sparkplug after 30 years of service. She was a long-time member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison. She loved to play Bingo, Bowl and was an avid golfer. Graveside committal service will be at a later date at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flushing. Arrangements were entrusted to VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, 135 South St., Ortonville, Michigan.
