DENNIS, Shelley Dianne - Age 63, of Linden, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St, Fenton. Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. A private burial will be held Monday at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday from 5-8 PM and at church Saturday from 2 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church.
Shelley was born September 29, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of Johnny and Patricia (Grove) Smith. She was a 1974 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She married Robert E. Dennis August 21, 1992 at Fenton United Methodist Church in Fenton. She had resided in Linden for the past 27 years coming from Flint. Shelley was a active member of Fenton United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society in Florida.
Surviving are: her husband, Robert "Bob"; 7 children, Amy (David) Holland of Grand Blanc, Lisa (Michael) Helcher of Flint, Marion Bradley of Hartland, Teresa (Sassan) Tarahomi of Brighton, Marcia (Joseph) Webster of Linden, Bradley (Erica) Dennis of Fenton, and Amanda (Michael) Williams of Milford; 13 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters; mother, Patricia Smith of Flint; sisters, Linda (Wendell) Williston of Davison and Kathryn (Robert) Curphy of Davison; brother, Richard (Cindy) Smith of Davison; and several nieces and nephews.
