Pobocik, Bertha Jane – Age 86, died peacefully at home on October 31, 2026. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM and Monday, November 9, 11:00 - 12 Noon. Funeral – Monday, November 9, at 12 Noon at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E Hill Road, Grand Blanc. Final Resting Place – Crestwood Cemetery.
Bertha was born October 1, 1940, in Flint, Michigan to Austin P. and Bertha M. Huber. Bertha retired from the State of Michigan Rehabilitation Services. She graduated from Davison High School in 1958 and attended Baker Business College. Bertha was known for her Love of God, family and nature. She had a charitable spirit, always helping family members and others in need. She was a woman of many talents: the first female siding applicator in Flint, Michigan, an artist, a published author, a square dancer, a certified scuba diver, a guest speaker at UAW meetings, a wonderful cook, crocheter, knitter and seamstress.
Surviving are Sisters Sharon Carnell and Connie (Steve) Myers; Children: Julie Ouimet, Jennifer (Donald) Harris, Theol Jackman II, Scott (Brandy) Jackman, Brian Jackman; Stepchildren: Gregory (Susan) Pobocik, Bruce Pobocik, Denise Pobocik; Grandchildren: Joshua (Christy), James (Amy) Jessaca (Elliot), Na’Kayla, Justinay, Lauren, Thea (Yoshua), Beatrix, Brittany (Zach), Cassie (Ty), Robert (Maddie), Nicholas, Dan, Dale, Destiny, Bruce Jr., Brandon and Kyle; and 17 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by Nephews and Nieces – Austin, Cassandra, Heather, Thomas, Dane and several special Cousins: Ann, Joe, Vikki, Joyce, Roslyn, Peggy, Birney, Kay
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Albert Pobocik and her first Husband, Theol Jackman I, Daughter Jessica Jackman, Stepdaughter Deborah Pobocik, parents Austin P. Huber, Bertha Marie Huber, Second Mother Rosa P. Huber.
