Rushin, Peggy Lee - Age 80, of Grand Blanc, died April 28, 2020. A memorial celebration will be held 1PM Saturday, July 25 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Saturday at the funeral home. Peggy was born March 5, 1940 in Flint, the daughter of Marvin Carlisle and Nina Mae (McCoy) McVicker. Peggy married Kenneth Rushin on November 4, 1972 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2015. Peggy worked for General Motors as a Senior Payroll Accountant for 30 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of South Mundy United Methodist Church. Peggy bowled at Galaxy Bowling, her teammates were very special to her. She is survived by her children, Edward (Lori) Melancon of Reagan, TN., Dennis (Laura) Melancon of Brant, MI., Karee Melancon, (David Veatch) of Davisburg, Pamela Sue Million of Flint, Dennis Ray (DJ) Rushin of St. Louis, MO., Mark (Patricia) Rushin of Portland, MI., Diane Mae (Michael) Gruno of Millington, Kristen Rushin Reynolds of Otisville; brother, Marvin McVicker of Flint; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Betty Madsen; sister-in-law, Carol McVicker; grandson, Kenneth Gruno.
