HUMPERT, Mary Jo. – of Clio, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Fr. Bob McGraw officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1PM until 8PM where a vigil will be held at 7PM and at the Church on Saturday from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society. Mary Jo was born on February 16, 1945 in Flint, MI to the late John S. and Kathryn H. (Belill) Harwood. She resided in Clio most of her life and was a 1963 graduate of Clio High School. Mary Jo married Terry Humpert on November 19, 1971 in Flint, MI. She was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Mary Jo enjoyed being up north, boating, animals, playing cards and spending time with her family and daughters. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are: husband, Terry Humpert of Clio; 3 daughters, Rae Ann (Mark) Swanson of Clio, Stephanie Davidson of Clio, Jennifer (Paul) Gardner of Clio; 4 grandchildren, Alexandra Swanson, Jack Swanson, Natalie Swanson, Avery Gardner; brothers, John (Judy) Harwood, Tom (Mary) Harwood; loving furry companion, Rajah.
