Michael Le Roy Turner September 6, 1955-October 5, 2025
Michael Le Roy Turner, 70, passed away at home on October 5, 2025. A devoted father, grandfather, and friend. Mike was the best Dad and Grandfather that his family could have asked for, always putting his loved ones first. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army. He carried these values of honor and dedication throughout his life. As a skilled computerized machinery programmer, he brought precision and expertise to his work. Earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike. An avid sports enthusiast, Mike never missed a chance to watch football or any other sport. He shared his passion for sports with his family and friends. His creative spirit shone through his many hobbies: including building intricate models, crafting, cross stitching, and kayaking on peaceful waters. One of his biggest passions was creating music with his band that filled his home with joy. Mike was also a transportation enthusiast of most kinds, railroads, aviation, and automotive.
Michael is survived by his daughter Jenni (Eric), sons Michael (Sarah), Steven (Jennifer).
As well as his cherished grandchildren Anthony, LeeAnn, Henry, Mary, Eric Jr., and Evan.
One Great Grandchild Ivey.
Also, grand dogs Nobu and Laney.
Preceded by his parents Le Roy & Shirley Turner and his sister Sue. He is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
Celebration of life will be held at 2pm Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Memorial visitation will be held at 10am Thursday, till the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place.
