Schultz, Kipp LaVern of Flint, age 77, died Friday, July 24, 2020. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2020, at Rossell Funeral Home and 9 a.m-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at Flushing Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Kipp was born in Owosso, Michigan on January 13, 1943, the son of Julius LaVern and Lois Lee (Armitage) Schultz. He married the love of his life, Charlotte K. Ferguson “Pumkin” on January 26, 1981. She preceded him in death on August 22, 2018.
Kipp loved building and painting. He loved to garden and plant fruit trees and flowers. Kipp enjoyed watching birds from his window from his chair. Most of all, he loved being surrounded by his family and was always trying to lend a helping hand to others.
He is survived by his children, Lonnie Whitman, Kip G. Schultz, Kevin L. and wife Shawn Schultz, Kendall and wife Amy Schultz; grandchildren, Brittany L. Schultz, Kendall G. and wife Elizabeth Schultz, Kristian L. Schultz, Kaleigh and husband Glenn Marsden, David Goodman; great-grandchildren, Ayvah Schultz-Mull, Ariya Mull, Jayden Mull. Kipp was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher L. Schultz. |
