WILBUR, Lawrence “Larry” of Flushing, age 71, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Genesys Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2019, at Rossell Funeral Home with Army military honors. Burial to follow at Assyrian Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday, June 16 at Rossell Funeral Home and 10-11 a.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, per Larry's wishes, memorial contributions may be made to his wife.
Larry was born in Flint, Michigan on September 21, 1947 to Harry and Dolores (Miehm) Wilbur. He retired in 2009 from his career at Durakon Industries and was a U.A.W. Committeeman. He was an avid fisherman and loved going to the casino.
Larry is survived by his wife, Alma; children, Johnna (Joe) Cronkwright and Jim (Cindy) Glenn; grandchildren, Justin, Alex (Jalyn), Christopher (Kyle), and Josh; sister, Jan (Tim) Spalla; nieces, Tobi (Todd) Beaty, Danyell Spalla, and Kelly Payne; mother-in-law, Nelly Warda; and sister-in-law, Karen Warda. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Dolores; son, Aaron Wilbur; and father-in-law, Albert “Emil” Warda. |
