Funeral service will be 11:30 am, Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, Flint.
Visitation will be from 11-2 and 4-7 on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, Flint.
Flossie was born in Athens Alabama, on November 25, 1936, the daughter of the late Nick and Minnie (Sims) Thomas.
Flossie married Curtis Norris in 1959. They were married for over 43 years.
Flossie was a part of Valley Church for many years. She enjoyed Mission Possible, a community service group through church. She loved gardening, camping, sewing and reading and her family. She was a God-fearing woman who loved to cook and made everyone feel loved.
Surviving are daughters, Cindy King, Denise Norris, Lucinda Russell;
sons, Byron Norris, John Norris;
15 grandchildren;
15 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Janey McCluskey, Martha Waddell;
she was preceded in death by Kristopher Gary Warren, Nathaniel Curtis Russell, Byron Curtis Norris Jr. Kenneth Wayland Norris and Patsy Norris.
