ELDE, DONALD “Don” – Of Flint, age 87, died Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at NewLife Community Lutheran Church, 7235 Torrey Road, Swartz Creek Michigan. Reverand David Rossow officiating.
Visitation will be at 10 am on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, till the time of service at the church.
Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Donald was born in Flint Michigan on April 3, 1938, the son of the late Edward and Bertha Elde.
Don graduated from Flint Northern High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Don Married Mary Alexander on March 15, 1985.
Don was employed for several years at Hamilton RV Center in Saginaw, Michigan.
Surviving are his loving wife, Mary;
stepchildren, Cindy Alexander, Tari Garza, Dale (Theresa) Alexander and Mary Jo (Anthony) Warren;
Don had 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren;
Sister, Janet Elde, sister-in-law, Annette Elde and niece, Christel (James) Neuendorf;
Friend, Benny Garza.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bertha Elde, brother Robert Elde and granddaughter, Kristina Garza.
