ABRAHAM, Theodore II “Ted”– of Flint, MI, age 81, passed away on June 6, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Dale Pattee officiating. Interment, with military honors, will take place following the service in Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 3-8 PM Tuesday, June 13, 2023, and the hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County.
Ted was born in Flint, Michigan, on March 4, 1942, son of the late Theodore and Earline (Bush) Abraham. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1960. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. Ted volunteered for the Kearsley Rescue Squad. He retired from AC Spark Plug after 30 years as a Production Worker and Benefit Rep for Local #651. Ted enjoyed golfing, bowling and muscle cars. He loved spending time outdoors bird hunting along with shooting at trap and skeet competitions. Ted spent his retirement camping at Potter Lake campground.
Ted is survived by his sons, Brian (Jayna) Abraham and Brandon Abraham; grandchildren, Gavin, Caiden, Preston, Elliott and Emmery; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Abraham and many aunts and uncles; four-legged friend, Jacklyn.
The family would like to thank all the waitstaff at Fredi’s and Starlite restaurants for “putting up with him” for all these years. In addition, the staff at Knob Hill Meats for allowing Ted to be part of their family. A special thanks to his ICU nurse “Sami” and the staff at McLaren Lapeer Hospital for the wonderful care given to Ted. A heartfelt thanks to all the fellow campers at Potter Lake Campground for your friendship over the years.
