Gary Dean Hintermeister
Passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 69 due to multiple health complications.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at McGeehan Funeral Homes - St. Charles Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
Gary Dean leave to cherish his memories forever and the love of his life Mary; Children Wyatt (Mindy) Hintermeister, Chad (Lori) Hintermeister, Casey (Alexandria) Hintermesiter: Step Daughter Nikko Masuyama; Twin Sister Terry Hintermeister; Grandchildren Codey, Chase, Cassandra, Preslee, Marcie, Karly, Jesse, Hayden, Brohn, Ivy, Ava, Bryant, Teddy and Wynonna.
He is predeceased by his Sisters Linda and Diana Hintermeister.
Gary Dean married Mary on August 13, 2000.
He was on the Jerome Township Fire Department for many years. He drove truck most of his life and owned MGD Trucking. Gary came from a musical family and started playing country music from an early age. He formed a family band with his two sons Wyatt Dean and Chad Lee. They opened for many classic country acts all over the state. Gary Dean was entered into the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame in June of 2021. He also received the Bear Jam Achievement Award. He was known for his beautiful country ballad voice and his two stepping medleys.
He loved his family and extended country music family. He will be with us and missed by all.
