WARD, Virginia R. - Of Grand Blanc, age 78, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Michael Case officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to Absolute Hospice.
Visitation 12 Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Virginia was born in Beach Grove, Arkansas on August 2, 1937, the daughter of the late Jasper and Inez North. On December 23, 1955, she married Billy Ward in Flint. Virginia was a wonderful woman who loved people.
Surviving are husband, Billy;
son, Scott Ward;
grandchildren, Warren McClure, Heather McClure and Seth Ward;
brother, Clinton and wife Connie North;
sisters, Velda Newberry, Bernita and husband Roy Henson and, Nina North;
many nieces and nephews
Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer.
