1926-2025
Cameron, Missouri- Mildred Knowles, 99 , formerly of Montrose, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2025. She was born March 17, 1926 in Roslyn, New York to Roy and Helen (Pilch) Davis.
She married James Knowles on September 17, 1946 in Flint, Michigan. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2015.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; daughters, Mary McNiel, Joyce Longueuil; son in law, Thomas Longueuil; 2 grandsons and 2 great-great granddaughters.
Mildred is survived by a son, James (Filomena) Knowles, Maine; daughters, Helen (Floyd) Lemley, California, Ruth Evans, Laura ( Patrick) Patterson, Anita Knowles, Missouri; son in law, Benard McNiel, Indiana; along with 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 6th., 2025 at St. Munchin Catholic Church.
Rosary at 10:00 a.m. with visitation following prior to the service.
A graveside service will be held at 2:oo p.m., Friday, May 9, 2025 at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Cameron Food Pantry.
