Nola “Marie” Daily, 75, of Davenport, passed away at her home on Friday, February 11, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, February 16, 2011in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com
Mrs. Daily was born June 29, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of William T. and Mary C. (Goss) Matthews. On April 3, 1954 she married Elmer Richard Daily in Jefferson, Indiana.
She was a waitress for over twenty years. Her memberships included the American Legion and Eagles auxiliaries and the Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; children: Terry (Jim) Grobstick, Mary (Jay) Pewe, Richard (Lisa) Daily, all of Davenport, Veronica (Ken) Bales of Walcott, Jennifer (Jim) Garnica of Davenport; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and brothers William (Rita) Matthews and Larry Matthews, all of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward, her parents and a brother, Buddy.
