It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Glenn L. "The Bread Man" Kendall III, who passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. A memorial service will be held to honor his memory at 2 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Nelson-House Funeral Home, The family warmly invites friends to gather at the funeral home from 12 PM until the time of service.

Glenn was born on June 14, 1964, in Bay City, the cherished son of Glenn and Eleanor (Koczenasz) Kendall.

He graduated from Bay City High School in the class of 1983. Shortly thereafter, Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Passionate about sports and family, Glenn was known for his unwavering spirit and zest for life. Whether cheering for his favorite teams or enjoying outdoor activities with his grandchildren, he embraced every moment. His selflessness shone brightly as he always prioritized the needs of others, offering help and support to anyone in need. Above all, Glen treasured the time spent with his grandchildren, who filled his heart with joy.

Glenn found love again when he married Christina Widing in Corunna on July 9, 2017. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.

Renowned for his baking skills, Glenn was lovingly dubbed "The Bread Man" for his delightful creations, which he freely shared with friends and neighbors. His kindness extended to driving others to appointments, reflecting his generous nature.

Glenn is survived by his devoted wife, Christina Widing-Kendall; his beloved children, Samantha (Brian) Gemzer, Tara (Tucker) Colburn, Andrea Reynolds, and Kori Reynolds; his treasured nine grandchildren; his mother, Eleanor Kendall; and his dear siblings, Michael Kendall, John (Christy) Kendall, Carrie Wenn, Kelly Dixon, and Susan (Rollie) Johnson, along with many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Kendall Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the donor's choice, reflecting Glenn's spirit of giving and kindness.
