PERKINS, Clark D. - Of Clio, age 82, died Friday, October 9, 2015
at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 2-7pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Clark was born in Flint on April 3, 1933. In 1966, he started his own business, Clark Perkins Homes. He was a member of the Flint Home Builders Association. Clark was also employed with General Motors and retired in 1970.
Surviving are son, Clark “Randy” and wife Deborah Perkins of Clio;
son-in-law, David Anderson;
daughter, Sandy and John Lamb of Clio;
grandchildren, Clark Randy Perkins II, Laura Perkins, Paul and wife Megan Anderson, Steffanie Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Scott Perkins, Kirstie and husband Jeremy Parks, Katie Brokaw, Joseph Brokaw, John Lamb and fiance Amber Wilkins, Dillon Lamb, Austin Lamb, and Carter Lamb;
a great grandchild to be;
several nieces and nephews;
and best friends Luke and wife Betty Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith, daughter, Sally, son Brian, parents Newell and Ethel (Wisner) Perkins, brother, Robert and sister, Dorothy.
