Yambrick, Joseph Paul, of Flushing, age 78, died on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Henry Ford Genesys.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Caterer Family Funeral Home (formerly Rossell). Family and friends will gather from 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Joe was born on April 1, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late William and Marjorie (Williams) Yambrick. He dedicated many years to his career as a carpenter and proudly retired from Local Union 706. Motorcycles were Joe’s greatest passion and he rode every chance he got. He loved cooking and bringing family and friends together for parties, barbecues, and good times. Joe was always on the move and enjoyed traveling, especially his trips up north. After retiring, he looked forward to spending his winters in Winter Haven, Florida.
Surviving are his children, Amy Laatz and Joseph Yambrick II; grandchildren, Brittany, Logan, Teagan and Samuel; great-grandchildren, Lilah and Harper; siblings, Mike (Jill), Christine, Mary and Margaret; many nieces and nephews; and special family, Bob (Stacie) Dunsmore, Sami, Brayden, Lukas and Braxten.
Joe was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Yambrick; parents, William and Marjorie Yambrick; siblings, Bill, Chuck, Paul, Frank, Ellen and Alex; and brother-in-law, Joel. |
