Diamond, James M. - of Flint, age 64, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 4PM Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 8PM, and on Thursday from 3PM until the time of service at 4PM. Cremation will follow with a graveside service in Flint Memorial Park at a later date.
James was born April 28, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to Edward and Delores (Watson) Diamond, Jr. He attended Southwest High School. James married Esther Sanchez on July 31, 2014. He owned and operated Diamond Tree Service for many years. James loved fishing, camping and gardening. He enjoyed working around the house and keeping up with home improvements. James always had the best time taking his wife and mother out to eat. Above all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. A piece of the family’s heart was taken, but one day we will all meet again, we love you dearly.
Surviving are: Wife, Esther Diamond; Children: Jodie (Mike) Blandina, and Jamie Diamond; Mother, Delores Diamond; Stepchildren: Lillian (Paul) Fisher, John Qualls, and Christina Rodriguez; Grandchildren: Shane Caulder, Nicholas Caulder, and Gabriel Caulder; Siblings: Edward (Cathy) Diamond, Mark (April) Diamond, Cynthia (Tim) Hassenger, Terry (Clarence) Ward, Gene Diamond, Jennifer Diamond, and Steven (Kim) Diamond; Many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other loving family members and dear friends.
