FARVER, Carol Ann – Of Swartz Creek, age 70, died Monday, July 27, 2026 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 1pm, Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Adopt-A-Pet or the American Cancer Society.
Carol was born in Bad Axe, Michigan on June 22, 1956. Carol graduated from Bad Axe High School. She married Keith Farver on December 2, 1995. Carol was a very giving person, especially to organizations like St. Jude Children’s Hospital and East Bank of Flint. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts and loved spending time with her family. Carol retired from GISD and had special “angels” she worked with.
Surviving are husband, Keith;
son, Jeremy Eugene Farver (Erin Luchenbill);
grandson, Caleb Lee Farver and his friend Sierra;
siblings, Shirley Bland, Jim (Donna) Blackstock, Gloria (Dave) Shuff, Sue Babb, Jane Blackstock, Ed (LuAnn) Blackstock, Linda (Chester) Gucwa and Mark (Becky) Blackstock;
brother-sisters-in-law, Gary Farver and partner Debra, Dave (Shirley) Farver, Matt (Beth) Farver, Jane (Scott) Ellis, Rob (Celeste) Farver, Jackie Blackstock and her Angels from GISD.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Dale Blackstock, Bill (Rose) Blackstock and Gary Blackstock, sister, Em (Joe) Prill, Janes partner, Katie Harris brother-in-law, Roy Ramos and sister-in-law, Dobrilla Farver.
