SKINNER, RAMONA E. - Of Burton, age 95, died Monday, April 1, 2024 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Jeremy Peters officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 4 pm. - 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Ramona was born in Flint, Michigan on March 13, 1929, the daughter of the late William and Edith (Adams) Rasche.
She was a lifelong member of Riverside Tabernacle. She attended Court Street United Methodist Church in her later years. Ramona participated in the choir and was an avid reader.
She had a good sense of humor.
Mrs. Skinner was employed by St. Joseph Hospital for over 20 years, in the laundry.
Surviving are children, Stephen (Rita) Skinner,
William D. Skinner, Joan E. (Bill) Lee and
Joyce Frost;
8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren;
several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Skinner; brothers, William, David, Danny and Rick Rasche.
