McArthur, William “Bill” Ernest – of Flint, age 67, died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Regency at Grand Blanc. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Carl Petty officiating. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 3-8 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to American Kidney Fund.
William was born October 3, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to Ernest and Rose (Fletcher) McArthur. He grew up in Davison and graduated from Davison High School with the class of 1968. Bill worked in the Dry Wall Finishing trade that he learned at a young age and also worked for GM-Fisher Body for 13 years. He was a member of the Painter’s Union Local 2353. William enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing guitar, and was an avid pool player. He also liked to spend time with his family and friends.
Surviving are: Children, Greg, Mike, Heather, Geoffrey; Grandchild, Morgan Anthony; Mother, Rose McArthur; Siblings, Sharon Williams, Joan Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father, Ernest McArthur and his grandparents. The family would like to give a special thanks to McLaren Hospice, Ballenger Pointe Davita, and Regency at Grand Blanc.
