HORN, Martha H. –age 99 of Flushing, MI, formerly of Scottsbluff, NE, passed away January 12, 2015 in Flushing, MI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 11AM-1PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1PM. Steve Hittle officiating. Martha was born on December 11, 1915 in Edgemont, SD to the late John and Anna (Lebsack) Weitzel. She married George Horn in Scottsbluff, NE on April 10, 1942. The couple moved to MI late in 1942. Martha worked for AC Sparkplug/ General Motors for over 37 years. She and George lived in Flint and Flushing for more than 70 years. After her retirement, Martha travelled all over the United States. She is survived by her sister, Alma Heck of Riverside, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, 10 sisters, and 4 brothers. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one’s choice.
