WEEKLEY, Joan Frances – of Clio, age 74, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 1:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Joan was born December 3, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late George and Mary Ellen (O’Brien) Drayton. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from St. Mary’s High School with the class of 1962. On April 20, 1963 she married Alfred Weekley at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan. Prior to her retirement, Joan worked in assembly for GM-AC Spark Plug for 15 years. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and going up north to Secord Lake. Spending time with her family was very important to her as well.
Surviving are: Children, Alfred Weekley, Andria(Chip) Alexander; Son in law, Jeff Gallagher; Grandchildren, Harold (Ashley) Alexander, Nicholas (Jill) Alexander, Jasmine (Ian) Alexander, Meghan (Kellen) Lucero, Melina Alexander, Sean Lucero, Connor Gallagher, Jason Weekley, Jeremy Weekley, Jerod Weekley; Great Grandchildren, Lily, Nicholas, Jade, William, Barrett, Elijah; Brother, Donald (Jan) Drayton; Sister in laws, Nora Drayton, Margaret Drayton.
