David Hardin Dutton – age 64, passed away on August 30, 2020 in Flint, Michigan. Private Funeral Service to be held at Grand Blanc United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. David was born on May 11, 1956 to the late Jerry and Gayle Lee Dutton in Chandler, Arizona. David grew up in Grand Blanc and graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1974. David received his Bachelors in Business Administration from University of Michigan Flint. He was co-owner of Davison Eye Care Associates and very active in the Davison Community. He was a longtime member of the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church. David was very active in several choirs including the Grand Blanc United Methodist choir and Bell Choir, and the University of Michigan Flint choir under the direction of Caroline Mawby. He enjoyed going to the Theater, the Symphony, fishing, boating, biking and snow skiing. David was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Dutton; children: Christopher Dutton, Hannah Dutton; sisters: Katie (Les) Weaver, Laura (Charles) Justice, Margaret Dutton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Jerry and Gayle Lee Dutton. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Grand Blanc United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice in memory of David.
