Drummond, Shelley Kay – Of Burt, formerly of Flint, age 74, died September 8, 2026, from complications of kidney disease. Honoring Shelley’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to an organization of your choice.
Shelley was born October 6, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Charles McDaniel and Marietta Lafern Seay. She graduated from Carman High School with the Class of 1971. Shelley loved making things with her hands, whether she was painting ceramics, making blankets, or baking for the holidays. She also enjoyed relaxing with her favorite shows, especially NCIS and Criminal Minds. She will be remembered for her creativity, her sense of humor, and the memories she shared with family.
Shelley is survived by her siblings, Ronnie Perry and Robert (Tammy) Seay; nieces and nephews, David Adkisson, Melanie Miller, Cornelia Savoie, Tammy (Matt) Kisser, Amanda Perry, Amber (Alex) Frye, Justin Perry, Caleb Seay, and Danielle Seay; grandchildren, Felicia Adams and Courtney Adams; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Drummond; brother, Anthony McDaniel; sister, Donna Savoie; children, Dennis Adams and Nathan Adams; brother in law Dennis Perry, her mother; aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
