JOSEPH, Leah G. (Streeter) – of Mikado, MI, age 84, passed away January 16, 2017 at MediLodge of Grand Blanc. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Leah was born on August 29, 1932, daughter of the late Sheldon “James” and Marion (Cobb) Streeter. She married Kenneth Joseph and he preceded her in death after 56 years of marriage in 2005.
Leah is survived by her children, Susan (Harry) Barriger of Gwinn, Sandra (Gary Myers) Houghteling of Swartz Creek, Roxane (Duane) Johnson of Minneapolis, MN., John (Carrie) Joseph of Davison, Kim (Michael Hadella) Schofield of Flint; brother, Harry (Alice) Streeter of Flint. Leah is loved and missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, Gordon and Arthur Streeter.
