Phyllis Irene (Weaver) Tabit of Davison, age 83, went to be with our Lord Tuesday August 5, 2025 at her residence. Private family services were held on Monday August 11, 2025 at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to Genesee County Humane Society.
Phyllis was born in Buckley Michigan on December 7, 1941 the daughter of the late Evan and Mary Leona (Kettner) Weaver and has resided in Davison the last fifty years. She was joined in marriage to Edward Joseph Tabit on December 19, 1959.
Phyllis enjoyed the outdoors spending numerous hours gardening. She loved to sew and was a great quilter. Phyllis appreciated her quiet time reading, but her true passion was her two loving dachshunds; Brother & Sister. Phyllis was employed by General Motors AC Spark Plug Division for over twenty-nine years retiring in 2008.
Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory: son Edward (Tracy) Tabit Jr. daughter, Christina Corbin, grandchildren: Ashley (Scott) Bennett, Isabella Friend, Daniel (Mallory) Corbin, Tessa (Rob) Avant, Courtney (Luke) Kottke, Feather (Mike) Amato, Nikki Naim, Katie Titsworth, Cody Titswort, twenty-nine great grand children, one great great grandchild, and a host of extended family and friends. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Edward Tabit, daughter Elizabeth Schultz, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 1 brother -in-law, 2 sisters-in- law, many aunts, uncles, friends, and 6 dachshunds.
