MCCORMICK, R. Scott – of Flint, Michigan, age 78, passed away on September 11, 2025. Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Scott was born in Flint, Michigan on January 1, 1947, the son of the late Archie and Dora McCormick. He spent many years working at Country Fresh Dairy, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic before retiring. Scott had a passion for photography and enjoyed capturing special moments through the lens of his camera. A true Detroit sports enthusiast, he especially loved cheering on the Lions. He also found joy in gardening and he cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Hobbs.
Scott is survived by siblings: Mary (Russ) McCormick and Gary (Kim) McCormick; nephews: Pat Bell and BJ (Chi) Bell; nieces: Kimberly Peelman and Jennifer (Josh) Doolin; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael McCormick.
