Krueger, Jack Jr. – Of Flint, Age 77, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm Monday, February 2, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road Flint, Father Jay Gantz officiating.
Visitation will be held at 11am on Monday at the funeral home.
Jack was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 1, 1948, the son of the late Jack Sr. and Helen (Lesniak) Krueger.
Jack was a resident of the Flint area since 1952. He married Trudy Gollan on February 17, 1968.
He received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. He was a past board member of Family Services Agency and a labor representative for educational advisory group to the Workforce Development Board of Genesee and Shiawassee Counties. He held numerous Board of Directors positions throughout the community. He was involved with education and training for Delphi Flint West for 16 years.
He championed several educational programs geared towards advancing the skills of employees throughout UAW/GM. He was proud to provide the Laid-Off Worker Transition Counselor training. He was a speaker to the US Congressional Sub-Committee for Education to implement educational reform legislation on two separate occasions. He was also a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Instructor and was active in many training workshops on subjects to include mediation, facilitation, data collection and analysis, and peer counselling. He enjoyed golfing and bowling in his free time.
Surviving his wife, Trudy: 2 children Scott (Renee) Krueger of Swartz Creek, and Julie (Bill) Christiansen of Sims, North Carolina; 1 granddaughter Ashley Krueger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
