Seng, Mary M. of Farmington Hills, formerly of Flushing, age 96, died Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Caterer Family (formerly Rossell) Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
Mary was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, the daughter of Reuben and Lillian (Bennett) Bennett. She married William Seng on March 24, 1990. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2010. Mary spent many years as a Manager for the Country Squire and later Bosley’s and the Beech Tree. She enjoyed going to the casinos. Mary loved all animals, especially dolphins, which she traced. She was a member of the Farmington Hills and the Flint American Legion and belonged to the Submarine Auxiliary. Mary will be remembered for her feisty spirit and strong will.
Mary is survived by her son, Lonnie Collins; granddaughters, Lona (Jarred) Collins, Seana Collins; great-grandson, Oliver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; and dear friend and mentor, Doug Bosley. |
