Yvonne Marie Joslin Kryza, of Owosso, formerly of Chesaning and Fenton, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Memorial Health Care in Owosso. She was 73 years old.
Born on July 24, 1953, in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the daughter Robert Lee and Thelma Lou (Atchley) Joslin Sr. Yvonne had many interests throughout her lifetime such as travel, gardening, her pets and reading. However, her biggest loves in life were her family, her friends, notably the Lake Fenton girls, and most of all her best friend and granddaughter Cora.
Yvonne is survived by her son, Trevor Kryza and his wife Savannah, her beloved granddaughter Cora Kryza; brothers-in-law, Michael Kryza and his wife Phyllis and Joseph Kryza and his wife Nora; sister-in-law Kathleen Kryza-Naglieri and her husband Jack; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Kryza and one brother Robert Joslin II.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 11:00 am at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, MI 48430. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 31 from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home as well as again on Tuesday from 10:00am until time of the service.
In memory of Yvonne memorial contributions may be made to the family.
