Baucus, Florence Marie of Livonia, formerly of Flushing, age 80, died Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her home after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2025, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Christian Salata will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to St. John Vianney.
Florence was born in Flint, Michigan on January 6, 1945, the daughter of Florian and Lillian (Cwieka) Glubzinski. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Central Michigan University. She worked for many years as an Educator throughout the Flushing and Flint areas. Florence was also a Small Business Owner. She loved playing board games, cooking and was an avid reader. Florence loved traveling and spending time with her husband Jack and their blended family. She was happiest spending time on Houghton Lake where she enjoyed boating, fishing and hosting friends and family. She was proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed Polka music, polish food and dancing. The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren. She will be remembered for being smart, independent and someone who would do anything for you.
Florence is survived by her husband, Jack Baucus; four children, Alysia (Greg) Lee, Kevin (Melissa) Kryglowski, Nathan (Laura) Kryglowski, Alexa (Daniel) Bannerman; grandchildren, Brandon, Cooper, Justin, Jackson, Benjamin, Asher, Mila, Beau, Davey, Jack; sisters, Connie (Rick) Doerr, Cathy Sluys, Luci Kirk; brothers, Lou (Cindy) Glubzinski, Bob (Ann) Glubzinski, Don (Nancy) Glubzinski, Stan (Cheryl) Glubzinski; father of her children, Daniel Kryglowski; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. |
