FENNER, Nina M. – of Davison, Michigan, age 91, passed away on January 30, 2026. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 6100 Richfield Rd., Flint, MI 48506; Pastor Pete Scribner officiating. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 10 AM until the time of service at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church in memory of Nina.
Nina was born in Clio, Michigan, on May 4, 1934, the beloved daughter of the late Ray and Helen (Kovacs) Bloomfield. On June 18, 1955, she married her true love, Henry Fenner, in Mt. Morris, Michigan, beginning a lifelong partnership built on devotion, friendship, and deep love. Family was always at the center of Nina’s life, and she gave her heart fully to those she cherished. She dedicated many years of service to local government before retiring in 1994. Even in retirement, Nina continued to give of herself through her church, where she volunteered, sang in the choir, and lovingly helped prepare meals for others. Nina and Henry shared a love of travel, especially to Hawaii, a place that held many treasured memories for them. She also found joy in knitting, playing cards, and spending time visiting with dear friends. Nina was known for her generous spirit, gentle compassion, and unwavering care for others. She was not only Henry’s wife, but his best friend and his constant companion. Nina’s kindness, warmth, and selfless love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Nina is survived by her loving husband, Henry; children: Barry (Nancy) Fenner and Bethany (Kevin) Holton; grandchildren: Craig Fenner, Christopher (Melissa Boyd) Fenner, Meghan (Justin) Burse, Morgan (Samer) Sahoury, and Sabrina (Steve Danforth) Holton; several great grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda (Fred) Belcher; siblings: Kenneth Bloomfield, Grayce (Ron) Miller, John (Janett) Bloomfield, Ray (Lois) Bloomfield, Clare (Freida) Bloomfield, Richard (Anne) Bloomfield, Marilyn (Clinton) Haynes, and Douglas (Patricia) Bloomfield.
