HARCOURT, Sherry L. – of Clio, age 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family as they sang praises and worshipped God, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her daughter’s residence. A private family burial is being held. Memorial contributions may be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation or a charity of your choice.
Sherry was born September 24, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late Luke and Blanche (Wheatley) Burks. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1961. Sherry married Richard Arthur Harcourt on December 21, 1962. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2016. Sherry worked for TG&Y Department Store for many years. She also was owner and operator of Bits and Pieces Boutique in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Sherry enjoyed going to flea markets and camping. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Children: Gregg Harcourt and Vickie (Tom) Dufour; Grandchildren: Andrew (Amanda) Cromwell, Colette (Adolf) Hense, and Amanda (Kyle) Smith; Great grandchildren: Cannan Cromwell, Hunter Cromwell, Dayton Childress, and Talon Smith; Brothers: Jack (Rhonda) Burks and Ron (Sheryl) Shanks; Brother-in-law, Patrick (Kathy) Harcourt; Sister-in-law, Cynthia (Keith) Harrison, and several nieces and nephews.
